Heres the main details on the PS3 from Sony's E3 Press Confrence:

It will launch in the United States on Nov 17th (Nov11th in Japan).

There will be 2 versions, 1st version retails for $599 and comes with a 60gig hard drive and inlcude all the bells and whistles (like hdmi, memory card reader, wifi, ect). The 2nd version retails for $499 and comes with a 20 gig hard drive and does NOT include: Support for Memory Sticks, SD and Compact Flash cards, no built-in Wi-Fi and will surprisingly have the HDMI output removed (necessary for achieving the much bragged about 1080p screen resolution).

They totaly tried ripping off Nintendo Wii and now the PS3 controler looks like the old Ps1/PS2 controler but is motion sensitive so you can manuver objects on the screen by tilting the controler in diffrent directions.

Man I really find it hard to believe people are gonna pay $500 and $600 bucks for the things a $200 Wii or $300 XboX 360 can do when the graphics will be almost identical. May be the beginning  of the end for the Playstation.

Removed the rumble to put a simple GBA-like sensor.. dont worth..

and the not-so-cheaper version is very ripped off.. workse then HD choise on Xbox ( that can be borught later )

but Hdmi port.. Wifi... and Memsitck slot..

    Sony is crazy!

    DeVS

They lost there damn mind. $600 bucks for a PS3? That would be like 3 Wii's or 2 XboX 360's that will LOOK the same and in Wii's case have a better motion controler.

Yep you're right ... i think it's to expensive for a console, i mean it's not a computer - -'' ..  but I find Nintendo Microsoft and Sony complement each other marvelously (Nintendo = innovatively Microsoft = good support and Sony = Multimedia). Surely have all of all somewhat only in this area which I above called are the large 3 particularly specialized ;)

No way!  I'm going to buy three PS3's and sell two of them on ebay for $900 each.  I'm so excited I could Wii.

hehehe ^^^^ nice solution !! xD but someone must buy your PS3 for 900 :P
i don't think that Sony will make the same fault as Microsoft ;)

Some info from Nintendos Press Confrence:

No price or launch date (just said 4th quarter 2006)

New Wii games incldue Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxey, Excite Truck (sorta sequal to Excite Bike series), Madden 07

      27 GAMES PLAYABLE at E3

The nunchuck addon for the Wii controler ALSO has motion sensors

Wii controler not only HAS rumble features, but it has a SPEAKER built in

The Wii system never needs to be turned off, it will hybernate allowing contentent to be downloadable (if you choose to turn this feature on). For example in Animal Crossing people will be able to visit your villiage, leave you messages or gifts and when you turn your system on they will be right there.

2 version of Zelda Twilight Princess, 1 for GameCube and 1 Special Edition for Wii. Zelda for Wii allows the use for the Wii controler. (hard to explain it if you didn't see it, but Zelda WITH the Wii controler is f'ing AMAZING)

Some new DS games include: New Brain games, Mario vs Donkey Kong 2, Mario Hoops, Final Fantasy III, Dragon Quest, Yoshi Island 2, Diddy Kong Racing, Star Fox, Zelda: Phantom Hour Glass[
      /list]

Man they demoed the Wii controler and it functions amazingly real. Can't wait to get my hands on this thing.[/list]
