Well, I've studied all the E3/media coverage of Wii. I must say some of the games look very fun, especially using the innovative nunchuck control.  Nintendo definitely understands the fun factor.  I'll probably buy a Wii.

However, I'm not impressed with the graphic performance of Wii.  Most of the footage in the Wii promotional videos are cinematics, not real time in-game play.  PS3 is going to have games that look almost as good as Wii cinematics (wavy hair etc., high detail action).  The Unreal engine on PS3 is going to blow peoples minds.  We are going to experience a level of realism never seen before, even on home PC's.  I'm very excited about PS3. And yes I'm looking forward to blu-ray on my HD setup. (drooling with a crazy wide eyed stare)

The PS3 has so much negative buzz around it its not even funny and for good reason, they have made so many stupid moves this generation. Also graphics can only entertain you for so long, I think like the DS the Wii has a nice level of graphic capabilities from what I've seen, also the Wii had a ton more playable games than the PS3 did this E3 and still, lets see.. wait to play PS3 > 30min, wait to play Wii = 4-6 Hours, the Wii lineup broke E3 records I believe.

The real question for me is how much money can Sony still make with this device.

I'll be getting a Wii first, I usually keep my PC up to date for high end graphic games, unless something really good shows up for the 360 or however unlikely the PS3, but with its price it better be better than sex.  Plus the PS3 looks like a Geoge Foreman Grill.
