I'm having problems with a couple of DS Roms and saving. I'm using the latest software and kernel.

The 2 games that don't seem to write the saves to SD card are:
NSMB
Advance Wars Dual Strike

The supercard software automatically created the .sav files (they are the same name as roms) and the save to SD option was set.

Anybody have any ideas?

I've only had NSMB not write the save to the SD properly once, and that was probably because I turned it off too quickly after saving.

I'd suggest waiting 10-15 seconds after saving in-game before powering off and see if it saves.

Also, NSMB doesn't autosave - until you beat the final boss, you can only save by beating a tower or castle, or spending 5 star coins to remove a sign.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.
