Will there ever be a NDS Lite Shell?

I'm going to get a NDS Lite, I want the black version, but its way too expensive. But I think I will get a US DSlite for 130 bucks. (50 bucks less than black)

Does anyone know if there will ever be a replaceable shell for the DS Lite? That would be wonderful. If they do, when do you think they will come out? We might know an estimate if someone could tell me how long it took for the "PHAT" DS shell came out after the real release of the DS.

Please answer all of the questions!

It's pretty much a safe bet to say that the replacement shells will be available soon. How soon? Can't really say but at some point you'll be able to get one  8)

It's hard to explain, but the NDSL case has a clear plastic layer that would be difficult to mimic exactly by a third party.

IMHO . . .

Yes, but if it's not an authentic Nintendo replacement case then it's not going to look the same.

Within 90 days after the US release.  Nintendo might already offer NDSL replacement parts?

I'm not sure, it seemed to be about six months.  Of course the success of NDS was unknown at that time.
