Hi guys, just noticed now that romman has added 2 new file for both SD & CF version of supercard.

SuperCard SoftwareV2.40(for SC Kernel software 1.50) (2005.8.6 update)
SC Kernel software V1.50( for NDS & PassMe,copy it to CF,and run it on NDS) (2005.8.6 update)

These should run the nds roms if you have the passme... I don't have passme and nds sigh :-(

Someone who can please test these and tell us if nds roms works fine!!

Just updated a sd supercard with the new firmware and tested it on my ds.

When I press A+B+X+Y during startup I get the new supercard menu, with the supercard logo on the touch-screen and the 'good old' game menu on the top screen.

I also can load a nds game but when it's done the screens stay white.

Guess you really need the superpass to actually play:(

I will test the same on a CF supercard and let you know the results

Well i just tried it with a CF card but pressing A+B+X+Y doesn't work here.
To be honest i do not see a difference at all!
Does the CF Supercard has a different key combination??

Update: when i press L+R during startup i get the test screen version 1.50 so the flash is ok.

Just tried the CF supercard

First hold ABXY , and then power up (flash to 1.50 first!)
Same thing, new supercard menu (with supercard logo on touch screen)

Starting up a nds game works, game loads in memory, but doesn't startup, resulting in 2 white screen.

Hope there will be a solution to this one, because I have the feeling we are very close to a working supercard+flashme

Nope even when i press them before and during startup it does not work. I get a white screen and that is it.

Do you have flashed your nds or are you using a passme, because it sounds like you're not

nope i've not done both.
But i wanted to try to do a wifime using the new CF firmware but it seems not to work that way?
By the way, why should loading a new firmware from the SC require the DS to be modified or a passme? seems a little strange to me...

Have you got a passkey? It is required to play nds roms... and passkey is the same as the future passme by roman (he stated that in his forums)

I see no possibility to flash your ds with a supercard, or any other flashcard atm.

You'll need at least a passme or wifime solution for that to work.

As for the new firmware & software, here a shortlist of my findings:

* De new software searches for bin/gba/zip files, no nds files
* So, NDS games cannot be patched with the new software
* Commercial roms load, but result in white screens
* With flashme the new sc menu starts when holding A+B+X+Y while powering up the nds (sc logo in bottom screen)
* Demo's load, but result in white screens
* Homebrew load, but result in white screens

I'm curious if someone with a real passme (in stead of flashme) has other/better results than this.

Hi..

Tested with new firmware, sd supercard, and passme...

two white screens when I tried to load

1. commercial nds rom (clean dump)
2. E3 commercial demo (wifi capture)
3. homebrew

so i guess all that's working now is the menu.  OR, they made it so it only works with superpass, not passme!  I hope not...

romman stated that superpass would be same as passme but cheaper.

Did someone try the supercard with wifime So next week I will go and buy one

Currently I do not have a passme or wifime, and I installed the kernel, but I cannot load gba saves such as relatime with the shortcuts. Any help ??!
