It may be of benefit to read the readme/info file with the multiloader, but in general here is how it goes:

You must use the nds versions of homebrew roms (the commercial ones for SuperCard likely will not work)

You put those .nds (not ds.gba renamed to .nds) into the folder with the Multiloader unzipped into it, then run the .bat file.

It makes a ds.gba which you can THEN rename to .nds and put on your CF/SD and load like any other DS ROM, only this one has a bunch of ROMs built into its file system (which you can then load each from the menu the MultiLoader provides...) Also, be sure not to make the final ds.gba file no large than 256Mbit (32MB) or some things may not work right.

MultiLoader cannot replace the SuperCard loader (at this point?).

homebrew and captured wifi demos (like the e3 demos, or the pokepark demos from japan)

it rocks

but i mostly use it on my x-rom 512, since it provides me with a loader menu.  supercard has its own, so i don't use darkain's loader on my SC except for novelty reasons.

Definitely rocks, especially since the source code was released as one of the examples to ndslib (looking at that code only got me confused, kudos Darkain for creating that one!)
