Quote from: "Hanafuda"THis rumble thing is most likely just a gap filler to squeeze some more sales out of the Slot2 generation before they release their Slot1. The Slot1 market is going to be interesting - except for build quality and fixed vs. removeable media, there's not necessarily going to be a whole lot to differentiate the products. And unless its by emulation (no thanks) none of them are going to do GBA either.

I have to agree with this statement. Filler until slot 1.

BaseballLegend

i just bought a SC Lite, how long till u think the SC slot 1 comes out cause if its soon im gunna be mad.

Devil_Spawn

i think, to be honest that i am gonna end up with say an m3 lite or some other 100% gba, unless (however unlickely it seems) that they will release a gba perfect supercard.
and then the cheapest 100% ds slot1 1 solution, then i got my gba games and my ds games

ShadowFalls

Would be nice to release a combo double package, So you could get a Slot 1 based card, and combo it together with a Slot 2 card, adding specialized support for all features, it would make the Slot 2 card like an add-on, not required but they can get it and use it with the Slot 1 based card which has the built-in features of the Superkey. That is the logical way to do it, whether they follow through, is another thing.

If SC rumble not support GBA, does this mean they took out the ram? If they did it, our hope to use Opera on DS is end.

Devil_Spawn

its never gonna work anyway, for opera ds ur gonna need some extra hardware like an sc opera or something

Zerk

Wow, exciting! Pretty nice idea.

But I'd like to see the 1 Slot version too (they are probably busy with it).  :D

ImmortalNinja

well....
I dont think I'll be getting this or anymore flashcards.
I've got quite a few now: SC-SD, mini-SD, lite (x2), DS-Link, G6-Lite and and DS-x on pre-order.
And to be honest I probably didnt need the last three.
In truth anyone of them do what most of us are going to be using any flash cart mostly for: playing games.
The rumble feature I think is on the whole un-necessary and we cant be sure yet that it wont have any untoward effects on the DS (I doubt it will though :p )
Can anyone with the offical rumble pack honestly recommend it? I know I can't and everyone I've shown it too was a little suprised and didnt believe it was an offcial Nintendo product.

At the moment the SCL provides a nice balance of speed of getting games onto it, speed in booting up games, memory capactiy and at least the option of trying any interesting GBA games (although this is probably going to be less of a issue with time).
