So sardaukar, when you are on a bus or car or plane, or wherever, you bring a television with you at all times or even a portable dvd? That is not even including tv shows.

The point of it is practicality.

well, i just put music videos and other whatnots (magic tricks to dazzle people.... the japanese magician for instance) short clips that you wouldnt mind watching over and over....

movies take a while to frameskip...

but it is pretty cool to watch it on the go

No, onekelly, when I'm on a bus I listen to music. Movies give me motion sickness on the run. And although I can certainly tell it CAN be done (watching movies on buses) I don't get why. I mean, you can also juggle 5 pineapples while riding a unicycle on a subway, but you don't do that...

I am sorry to here that you have motion sickness.

To answer your question why watch a movie on a bus, plane, etc... for the simple fact that I personally want to. The screen size is fine. I do not have motion sickness and my guess is that a bunch of people who watch movies on a DS don't either. They most likely want to watch movies on their DS, again because it is practical. What is there not to get.
When I head to Disneyworld from the west coast in november, I will be watching a movie on the DS with my bose headphones, and my daughter will be doing the same, (though it will be some animated show). And I do not own a laptop, so no watching movies on it as well.

To be honest, you are trying to compare something that takes skill to something that doesn't take any. It really has nothing to do with watching movies on a ds.

The pineapples stuff was a joke. Well, I just saw for myself a movie on the DS, and it's really blocky and all. For me, it's not good at all. Not when I have a GP2X.
