Thank you, but I cannot take all the credit, as i updated the old one and added new info, Corrected some errors and upload new files (which takes the longest time).

Ok...my SCSD just came in today.  I have a 2 GB Kingston SD card, which i have formated to FAT.  I downloaded the package for the above details, and placed all 2 files/folders on my card (root);

shell
_BOOT_MP...
moonshell reset...

Now what?  I have MP3's and a few GBA games i want to test out.  I tried putting them the root dir and it didn't work.  I selected one of my GBA games (16,000 K) and it loaded, but once it reached 16,000 k the screen went blank...

Why would you run GBA games on MoonShell? If it's a commercial game, load it from SC's boot menu. If it's homebrew, it may be not compatible with MS.

I thought i could run GBA roms?  I only have a few, mainly i want to play MP3's...thats where i could really use the help.

SynGamer

Can anyone post screens on what i should be seeing when i turn the DS on?  I select GameBoy Advance and from there a menu comes up with list, saver, and other stuff.  The shell folder, BOOT MP and reset are in my root dir...

onekelly

Syngamer, moonshell is basically for mp3's and watching movies (yes it does a little more, but mostly this).
If you are having problems with running gba roms on your SC, please post in a new thread, this topic is for moonshell and I don't really want this thread hijacked or i will have to make a new one.

With that said you need to run the gba roms thru the supercard software you dl'd from supercard site or from here. you will also want to update your scsd.

Moonshell is not for running ds roms or gba roms

if you have issues with what i just explained please start a new topic in the correct forum.

Please do not take offense, as none is intended. :)

Ok, easy question.  Do i need a SuperKey or something in slot 1 to use the SuperCard for MP3's or Video's?  I thought i didn't, but i can't seem to get MP3's to work. (Haven't tried video's yet...)

onekelly

You need a superkey (or similar) only to the point of the supercard menu, i removed after that and moonshell worked. OR you need a flashed ds. You have one of these two correct? Also you need to follow the instructions in the tutorial. make sure you put the shell folder in the root dir.

SynGamer

No, i don't have a flashed DS, nor a SuperKey...from what i had read it seemed the SuperCard was capable of playing the MP3's and movies without anything in slot 1.

onekelly

I am sorry to say it but you do. either choice. I recommend one from realhotstuff.com here is the Superkey from RHS. It is $24 US.

If you need help on this please start a new thread as this is not a moonshell issue. thanks.

I got a problem with playback.  The sound doesnt match the video in Moonshell.  When i played the dpg using dpgshow it all ran fine, but on th eDS the sound is a few seconds off :(  I used dpgtools 12 by the way

Hi

I'm getting a problem with batchdpg. When I try to convert ANY video file in ANY format, I get that error message that tells me to run the avs file in windows media player, take note of the error message, and contact the author. The author of what? Well, regardless of who the author is, can someone help me? Here is the error message

Script error: there is no function named "DirectShowSource"
(C:/Documents and settings... if I were to continue it would give me the path of the avs file.)

It does this for EVERY movie I try to encode.

Further more, batch dpg used to work.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the k-lite codec pack (thinking the problem may realate to codecs) and batchdpg with no luck. Help me please.
