So im a little behind on the handheld department got rid of my original clear gameboy (the big ones) as the GB pockets were coming out and got a GBA when the DS first came out but had to sell it and my games cause of hard times. But im looking to get another GBA and dont want to spend 100+ to get a decent library of games so flashcarts seem to be the solution but im finding it hard to find which one i should get. Ive been interested in the SuperCard MiniSD because its the same size as a GBA cart and uses cheap flash memory but i heard that the GBA support isnt the greatest so which cart should i get? It will be for GBA only and i would prefer that it be the same size as a GBA card with at least a capicity of 512MB preferably 1GB. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to scdev!

I asked this question a little while ago but not for gba on supercard as it is not very good, IMO. In fact with the recent move of supercards to rumble cards, they have removed the gba compatibility. More on other gba flashcarts

A m3, I was using my m3 mini sd on m ds lite, but ended up hardly ever touching the gba functions so I passed it off to my son who has a gpa sp.

All the games run perfect on it, (I have the original version so it sticks out maybe 2 mm, but the new versions don't stick out at all.)

It's alot better at gba than the supercard minisd that he had and you get to pick the memory size.

You can pick one up with a 1gb memory stick for around 120 after shipping from realhotstuff. (Yes this is a plug for them, I've bought from them 2 or 3 times so far and the shipping and service has always been great)

The upside is when you move up to a ds you can use this card (and 99% of all other cards) to play ds games also.

just get a g6lite.  They have 512MB memory and are 80$.  This way in the future if you want to get a ds then you don't have to buy anything else besides a passcard.

The G6 Lite cannot fit on a GBA.  If I were you, and you are only using this for GBA, stick with older flash carts.  EZ Flash 3 is the best IMO, but Flash2Advance is pretty good, I heard XROM is good too.

Actually it comes with an GBA sized replacement case.  (or it did when I bought mine, anyway)

EZIV Deluxe works awesome for gba ;D
hite DSLite(FlashMe v7)
Supercard MiniSD w/Sandisk Mini-SD 2.0GB
EZFlash IV Lite Deluxe w/Sandisk Micro-SD 512MB
M3DS Simply w/Sandisk Micro-SD 1.0GB

G6 does come with the gba case so that you can switch between the 2.  I'm just saying this because in the future you probably will get a ds and this will already handle it.
