Hey,

thought I'd start a thread about naming some (yet unannounced) games that you would like to play on your DS one day.

personally I would just love to see Super Smash Bros, as well as Mario Tennis, the N64 versions of both games were awesome :D (anyone heard anything about either one of them maybe? )

and also I'd love to play some real time strategy game, age of empires was a big disappointment for me :(

so which/what kind of game would you like to see on your ds one day?

hmm...

I enjoyed Descent on PC and PSX quite a bit .... I think the DS could use something like that.

We need at least one very good racing game that isn't a kart racer. Mario Kart & Diddy Kong are favorites, but I like real cars too - "Sega GT DS" would be nice, or Colin McRae Rally. Wave Race DS would be nice too - actually I expected it would have been announced by now.

Wishful thinking - but Nintendo (and Namco, Konami, etc) should get realistic about the value of their legacy software and throw us some "SNES Collection" bones. Aint gonna happen though - people might figure out that Megaman X was a better series than ZX is.

We definitely need a better Zelda game for DS than what's coming. In OOT style, not WW. And once again, Nintendo should quit treating their old games like gold - include OOT and MM as unlockables. I'd love to play those games on DS, but I'm sure as hell not buying them since I already own versions for N64 and GCN.

We need a better wifi combat game than what we've gotten so far.
I'd like to see a 4-man per team wifi game where each character gets a different weapon, i.e. sniper, close-range rifle, one guy with 90% bulletproof armor and a club/knife - the point is they should all have their strengths and weaknesses so they're relatively equal, and they battle it out to the last man standing, and all members of his team get the win.

edit: had to come back to add -- give us a vertical shmup using both screens. Just make it so the bad guys can't shoot when theyre in the dead zone between screens, but they can still be shot by the player, and it'll all be good.

Descent... just Descent.

Also, I'm looking forward to when the Spy vs. Spy DS game comes out.  I read it was being worked on, back when Nintendo has that E3 site with basically no security.

User/pass was something like E32006/media, I think.
