I ordered both a Supercard SD and a 512mb SD card and am anxiously waiting for them to come.  (I currently use a EZ-Cart PSII 128mb, not enough space).  Got them both for a total of $85, shipped.  Not bad.

I was wondering if the speed of the SD card made a difference when loading things into the Supercard RAM, or if it transfered at a set speed.  The SD card a oredered is rated at 60x, while I saw others that were rated much lower, 10x.  I was wondering if the supercard utilizes this extra speed or not.  Thanks in advance.

The speed won't matter, cause the programs are loaded from the sd card to the SC memory, they won't come straight from the card.  At least this is my understanding of.  Congrats on getting a really fantastic deal btw, where'd you find 'em?

but, i am just guessing, it might be better when we can use the new kernel to take things from the card to be able to play bigger ds games and  to use moonshell etc. :? . Again i'm just guessing.

I knew that it loaded stuff into ram and then played it, I was wondering if it would load into ram any faster.  As I understand it there is a wait involved (even longer if you compress the roms).  I wanted to know if a faster SD card would shorten the wait.

I got the Supercard from www.ioffer.com
exact link to the guy I ordered from

And the SD card from www.tigerdirect.com

about $65 before shipping and $85 after.  (Shipping is so high because the Supercard is coming from HK)
