Ok, I finally got my Superpass fro kicktrading today and everything was working lovely. But I removed the superpass and tried to play Super Mario DS but the cart wont stay in the slot!! It goes down and pops right back up. Has this happened to anyone else? I carefully pulled he Superpass out of the slot. Any ideas on how to fix it?

I think that you did not need to remove superpass from the ds slot to play another ds game, you had to just replace the metroid demo for example witha another ds cart and then access the game from the normal ds menu

I tried that but when I turn on the DS, after the health message, it boots straight to the SC screen. I was planning on flashing it so that I wont need the superpass anymore but how am I gonna do that if the carts wont stay in the slot anymore :(

Probably a bit late for you now but you pull the superpass up about 1mm then push down and you hear a click, then it slides out nicely.

Thanks fitzie. Sorted it out and the carts stay in fine now. I just gotta remember to do that everytime  8)

That's what I'm going to do as soon as I find the instructions on how to do so with the SC  8)

http://www.scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=3119#3119 that'll get you flashed.  good luck!

edit: that link's for using wifime but the basics are the same, just skip the parts that involve the wireless multiboot.

My son's DS is definitely dead (see post 2 above this) after removal of the Superpass as the game cartridges won't stay in even after attempting all of the above advice.

Can you tell me if you had to force your Superpass into the game slot; mine is so tight I couldn't get it out except by pulling. I have now taken sand paper to it so that it will slide in more or less as the games do.

What with this and the SC, which I have now found out is one of the DS incompatibles, I am dubious about the maker's QC department!

DS Slot has a LOCK  to release it  you need to push before you pull

Yes, I am aware of this; unfortunately, I still haven't managed to sand enough of the damn plastic off so that it freely moves in the game slot. After pushing down it's staying in there as it is still too thick! Very liberal with the casing in this instance.

this is why I like the GB classic. I still have one, and it plays fine (actually i have two, one died already though). If anybody remembers it actually had a nice little lock that slid across when you turned the GB on, to avoid your carts being damaged. Whatever happened to that? It was simple, and effective.

The Supercard is just manufactured cheaply, it seems. Mine is too small, rather than too large - it doesn't work properly unless you push the supercard itself slightly to one side in the DS cart slot so that the SD card is pushed in a little further than the eject mech leaves it.. ;)
