Hmm, warming up huh? Well I'll try doing that. Played Eragon for an hour earlier and it didn't freeze at all.

Yes, warming up is the best way I can describe it.  At first I thought the problem was with a damaged capacitor (C11). Now I'm speculating it might be a problem with the crystal oscillator?

Hi,

I have a supercard CF as well. Same problem...here's the reasno why: The connector with the 50 CF pins is coming off of the PCB. If I would push down on the CF card everything worked fine. If I didn't, sometimes the software would, sometimes it wouldn't. So I cracked open the plastic cover and saw that it was indeed the CF connector. Some of the pins on the PCB are loose so I will try to solder it this week. At one point I inserted small pieces of cardboard in between the top of the CF card and the supercard (looking down from top of the Gameboy SP). That worked but probably put enough pressure to disconnect the pins from the PCB.
