Can't login to the site using Firefox 2.0 ?

Any suggestions? When I try to log in with Firefox 2.0, the login screen just refreshes and clears box boxes. I can log in fine with IE.

Can you provide a screenshot of your browser right after it fails to login?

Try clearing your password for this site in your password saver in firefox. If that doesnt work try login in on both http://www.scdev.org/ and http://scdev.org/ also try checking the box that says "keep me logged in."

After it fails, it looks just like the normal login screen. I tried both URL's, but one just forwards to the other. I didn't have the password saved in Firefox.

Checking "keep me logged in" doesn't help. I've also turned off all the plugins I have installed.

Why can't you just provide a screenshot? Not everyone's browser is the same, let me see if I can help you.

Hmm, that's odd... sounds like it may be an isolated issue as I'm using ff2.0... any other details you can give? If you can, try clearing out the cookies, etc.

Ya I was gonna say try clearing cookies and cache, then restarting firefox and see if it still does it.

Actually I have the problem too. It only happens on one of my machines, and it does let me log in sometimes. I usually have to use IE Tab to switch over and post something. I wonder if it has someting to do with a combo of extensions I have...

Delete the cache, cookies and history.

Mine did it a while ago.

I know this is a longshot and there are probably a million Destros out there, but you didn't happen to play TFC by any chance?

As a professional web developer, I'm here to tell you that FF2.0 is a pain in the ass. I've seen perfectly legal code NOT run on FF2.0 for no good reason. I've seen it drop cookies, for no good reason. 2.0 was a giant step backward IMHO when it comes to compatibility and stability.

Opera 9.1 FTW plz.
