Nintendo is replacing the old Wii straps with the newer ones for free, just fill out the form. Gotta LOVE Nintendo!

Thanks for the link. I just ordered my straps even though the one that came with is fine. Nintendo will start shipping them on the 21 of December and will take 5 - 9 days to arrive. You can get a max of  4 replacement straps. I got 4.

Ordered 2 to replace the two i bought, didn't want to be greedy. That crap always ends up to bite you in the ass later.

I read somewhere that any standalone wiimotes bought after such-and-such a date (20th december?) will have the new strap.  I wonder if that would also include the new ones that come boxed with Wiis?

I live in the UK, any ideas where i can order my new straps? The form i've looked at is only for US and Canada.

Got my new straps this morning. You can tell a difference, it's odd to see how extremely small the old ones were.
