Here is a pic I found over at GBAtemp of the bootup error I am getting.

Man... I can't seem to get anything to work with this card. Castlevania POR gives me a Save File Corruption no matter what save type I choose, Eragon won't boot, Tony Hawk Downhill won't boot. I still get the Boot Error, the Browser locks up after seeing Bookmark Corruption.

I even reformatted to both FAT and FAT32. Nothing works. This card either blows or I got a defective one.

It doesn't pop in and out easy either. Not like the DSLink. I really have to push down in both the left and right side of the card so the spring catches. Like what Sneef was describing.

Wow, guess it may be the luck of the draw on this one. Can you see any physical reason for why the card would be so difficult to insert/remove? Such as extra thickness on the plastic or something of the sort?

Has anyone tested if FlashMe works?

Thanks in advance.

Doesn't seem any different than the DSLink as design and plastic shell goes. It definetly doesn't slide in and out as easily as the DSLink. Also... to me, it doesn't feel as solid either.

There *Must* be a cosmetic reason for why this is...even if it is only a millimeter off, I was kind of aggravated with how the SC Lite had to be squeezed in (dunno if that is better now...never repurchased) and now I hear reports similar on the SC DS. Don't these devices get tested before they get shipped?

I can live with the fit issues... because you can keep the DSOne in the slot and just eject the MicroSD card. What worries me are the games and browser issues, and the boot error. Most people seem to be getting stuff to work... but I can't for some reason.

The boot error is normal, everyone gets that. Also Opera works fine here ( no glitches ) using the original memory pack. I had a few problems getting stuff working at first but no real issues now.

My only niggle is that sometimes it just won't read previous savs in "long name" format so I have to let it create a sav manually then copy my existing one to the "short" format.

I just got done a 4 hour first-time session with mine. What a blast. The "boot error" message is one I was already used to seeing from running Moonshell on my SCLite. I'm surprised SC didn't tweak Moonshell enough to make it go away, but it doesn't affect anything as-is.

My SCDS slides in the DS slot like any commercial cart ... and ejects like one too. No issues.

They really need to find a way to make the "SD Speed" setting assignable on a per-game basis, instead of globally.

The ability to assign a savefile size to a new release and then run with it is awesome. I loaded up the new Naruto fighter and the Puyo Puyo anniversary game tonight and under save type one said "None" and the other said "Unknown." Presumably they were released after SC put together the current ndsinfo.dat file. I pulled up the file info window for each game, plugged in the proper save size, and I was good to go.

It aint perfect, but its actually exceeding my expectations for having just been launched.

You have to alter the save type by the "options", "file info", "change" until 512 shows then "save"

If other games don't boot change the flash card speed to "x2" then save

So the Boot Error seems to be normal and most everyone is getting it?

Eragon sorta works... I get Saving Error and then it doesn't boot. Tried all the options too. Maybe make this a benchmark game to test.

I have a few questions then (since people have had it longer than me... and more people are getting this) that might help others:

1. The games come up with a paticular Save Size. You can go into its File
Info amd Change it's Save Size. Does this only change it for onscreen
Viewing only... or does it actully change it's save size not needing to go
into SAVER and changing it their too.

2. Is there a way to Boot Up without having the File Info pop on screen?
Or maybe have it automatically disappear.

3. Can use use Unpatcher to boot into Slot 1. Hitting Select everytime is
annoying. I keep forgetting to hold it down.

4. Has anyone seen a difference between standard Sandisk and Ultra?

5. Without using the Super Mode (Software)... is there a way to reset back
to the main menu? Powering down each time is a royal pain.

File info, change, save to change the sav size
SAVER doesn't seem to do anything at all.

You should have read my review. In the GLOBAL.INI file change the [Boot] setting hiddenInfoWindow=0 to hiddenInfoWindow=1
