has anyone tries the kingmax 2 GB or any other 2 GB card with the scds one, using the auto sd card speed selector in the menu "other", what are the results, my scds one will not allow me to select option A key, only my sandisk 1 GB normal version will allow a or B key.

aprt from the mention above problem, most games works fine.

thanks

Quote from: "sneef"actually, i take back what i said about the transcend.. yes, the intro screen for AC:WW has a slight lag, but with card formatted to FAT with 64k clusters, and SCDS set to 4x speed,  the game runs flawlessly in-game.  just as good as g6lite.
I have a Transcend 512 Mbyte 80X formatted with FAT32. According to another forum I have set the SD speed to 32x (FW 1.1). I tried Castlevania-PoR with that setting: No crashes, no glitches, no slowdown over a period of 3 hours.

I tried other SD speed settings:
SD speed 2x: crash
SD speed 4x: crash after switching the menus
SD speed 5x: seems to be flawless (5 minutes testing)

@sunjammer
update on my Transcend 512MB 80x
ive tryed all my games that i play with all the speed all the way up till 32x with my Transcend 512MB 80X & it works just the same no matter what i pick
so ive just set it in the middle at 16x with no problems at all

update: my corsair micro SD seems to work but not perfectly. You have to manually set the SD speed to 25 (no more) and it will run most games fine.

It freezes during castlevania though and I haven't bothered trying any other game.

EDIT: I mean any other game that normally doesnt work on old supercards. It works fine with puyo puyo and other normal games.
