I have pondered the idea for nearly a year...

Only thing is that it would have to be an every two or three month thing instead of monthly... maybe that's even too little.

New information takes a while to come out. :\ And how many new flashcarts do you see a month?

Thats why we said it would have to include other items such as home brew news, new game releases/reviews,ect, not just new flash cart reviews.

Oh. New game releases would definetly make up for the lack of flashcarts. But homebrew is still about the same as flashcarts.... releasing very slowly. You'd have to have it covering every system and put long tutorials in it. XD

nice to see that people like the idea   , anyway the size would change from month to month based on news and new releases. yea it will cover flashcarts, ds releases, home brew and I'll give the wii a page as i know a lot of ds owners are interested atleast. that padded out with the odd adverts , editorials, features and maybe even a FAQ it would be able to work monthly.

it depends how many people want to join in with the making part.

so here is a preview, not at full size and not finished for the 1st issue (remember i said preview it might change a lot) of DUAL!



theirs a few things i might change, e.g. the name but at the moment im just looking for a team of writers for it.

I think you should have like 5 people working on articles for the magazine if you are looking for like 15 or more pages every month.  Also, it'd be wise to go around asking places such as GBATemp if they would allow you to publish their reviews on your magazine.

I think around 5 people would be good too. You will want someone to do flash carts, someone for homebrew, someone for game reviews, a backup/support for all 3 that makes sure people get there items in on time and if not handles it themselves and then a proof reader for it all. The people picked should have to show examples of work they have done such as reviews, or articles ( even if they are not game related articles) and be (no offense to our younger crowd) old enough/mature enough put in the time and quality it will take to make it a good read.

Ya been talking with Lick to see how hard it would be to have something like Comic Book Ds but make it where it can connect online through the DS and retrieve the issue from a server.
