I am wondering if it is a flashme thing? I am flashed, and it works just fine. Are you flashed or no? Hmm...

My DS is unflashed, using an R4. If you want/it helps, give me 1-2mins and I'll flash this baby again. Otherwise... Could you tell me what files regarding DSFTP you put into your card? And could you give me the link of the FTP client you are using in your computer?

rorix_bladewing5

I just tried it out now and it worked fine.  I put DSFTP.nds and and ftp.conf file in my card.

zektor

See, I didn't even use a config file at all. Just the NDS file alone and it works great. Maybe it is a flashing thing? Try to flash and try again. Let us know if it works then.

Is your DS flashed?

The last DSFTP needs to be DlDi patched before use
(get the patch and patcher here : http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/
then after that you need to modify the ftp.conf and place it in
/data/settings/ftp.conf

then you can launch it, see if it connects to your ap, and when it's ready, you can connect to it from your computer.

I don't have one. zektor said he didn't have one and his works fine.

dantheman

did you make sure to type "ftp://" at the beginning and not "http://"?

zektor

Also, make sure your firewall (if you have one) is not blocking the connection.

I've got the same problem. PC and DS are behind the same router. DS gets connected to the router, gets his ip,  has the server running.

Then I try connecting to it from FlashFXP, but it won't work (doesn't find any server, so it's not the ftp.conf - which is in the right spot and correctly configured tho).

I think I can't apply a DLDI patch... there's none for the Supercard lite, is there?

dantheman

Yes, there is indeed a DLDI patch for the Supercard Lite.  There are three actually.  One is the original, for the older Supercard Lites that already work with most existing homebrew.  Then newer SCLites started appearing that didn't work correctly, so a new DLDI patch was created that only had read access.  Within the past day or two, a new one came out, this time with full read/write access.

The original can be found at http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/index.html (use the SD one)
The first modified one is no longer necessary, so I won't post it.
The new one for new SCLites can be found at http://www.sendspace.com/file/5j8j65

Thanks mate! But this would only resolve problems with Memory Card accessing, not the connection problems, right? As far as I've read on another board, this might be caused by the changed wireless interface in newer ds lites and will maybe be resolved by recompiling using a newer wifi lib.
