Hi,

I have been a bit out of touch with the scene since getting a SuperCard SD for my DS fat last year and was wondering if anyone could recommend a Slot 1 card. I am leaning towards an SCDS Slot 1 but I have no idea about any of the others now on the market.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I can't understand why you prefer a crappy M3/R4 when you have beasts like... MK5

No, seriously, R4 is the best out there. And I say R4 because it seems to be cheaper than the M3. If you want it to be an M3, just mod it, and you'll be saving a couple euros ;) If not, well, it's just the exact same thing :D

Thanks guys!

I think the answer is pretty much unanimous! I have read the M3 and R4 are almost identical (except firmware) but should I be worried which one I get? I read that some homebrew doesn't work well on the M3/R4 although clean rom support is 100% (which is nice!).

Cheers again!

Told you, it seems that the R4 is cheaper than the M3 Simply. Dunno why, maybe they're charging you for the brand... but still, if you want an M3, you can mod an R4 into an M3. It all depends on where are you buying it from.
For example, I see a lot of spanish stores have M3 Simplys on sale, but none R4.

If you are NDS savvy (have it flashed or know how to) I would recommend the DSLink (NOT DS-LINKER) as I find it a very good card in terms of compatibility and homebrew playback.
Nintendo DSi
Nintendo Wii - cIOS38 Revision 12 (and more)
Madden PSP Slim v5.00 M33-6

Homebrew in general is going to go up in compatibility once the new drivers become standard for all programs. A lot of projects just aren't updated on a regular enough basis to have them added yet which is what's causing the greatest part of the incompatibility.

hat about the EZV can anyone tell me how it compares to the R4 as those are the two im trying to decide between? (someone who has both or tried both would be the best source of course XD)
