I've nearly got some scripts/hacks together to patch in a new wallpaper and _hopefully_ blank out the boot up error message. Thanks jittai, I've never really used Moonshell - had no idea what a b15 file was.

This is a batch script and utilities to patch your own wallpaper into the latest english msforsc.nds. It basically replaces the existing sclogo.b15 with your own file. It also removes the bootup error screen. The limitations are that your wallpaper.png has to be less than or around 12k as a png. Please read the readme.txt

tuta: you could certainly write a program the would extract the imfs contents from the arm9. There are several example nds programmes in the libimfs link posted. My patcher is just a lazy hack and basically "hex edits in" the new wallpaper.

looks like the blacking out of the warning/error screen failed... try patching again.
