I got a bit tired of the standard moonshell skin of the DS1.
I like it more plain and simple, so i started to play a bit with it.

After some photoshopping and SKIN.INI editing
i got the following result:




in reality it looks better than on these pictures

install instructions:
copy content of DS1_MS_DH.rar into your scshell folder on your microsd and overwrite any existing files.

Is there any way to remove the white lines that are between each of the files?

no, i'm afraid not. atleast i didn't find a way.

i tried every setting in the skin.ini but the white lines always stayed white.

maybe someone else has an idea?

How do you figure out the coloring for FileSelectCursor=ffbc2d?

Like a Red/Burgandy or Purple?

Figured it out in Photoshop. There is a # on the bottom of the color picker. Never knew that was there, but cool color chart. Thanks.

I do though have another question. How do I change the background color on the pop-up File Info Box or the About box? Is it in the SKIN.INI or on one of the bmp's?

hi, anyone knows how to changed the top screen of the supercard DS(One)..?

I changed the desktop.bmp and the c_file.bmp...but the top screen is still the blue supercard wallpaper...Thanks...

Here is the only way as of now. I posted it in this thread SCDS1 settings, small collection of. Here is the info on it:

To get rid of the supercard Graphic on the top screen.

FileSelectSubScreen=0 <---Change this to a 1

The result is there is now no touch screen to go to menus, and the menu is driven by direction pad. Basically this is what moonshell is, before the SCDS1. This invokes the c_file.bmp to the top screen and the desktop.bmp to the bottom screen.

If you leave it as a 0 and want to change the bottom graphic, you need to change the c_file.bmp file (I know just above i said the opposite, but hey I don't write the software, i just tried it out thinking it would change the top but only the bottom changed). That is just the way it is.
