If you bought a new ds lite, homebrew wifi is probably not working for you.

I spent over 2 weeks twiddling with my ds lite and finally came to the solution.  

The homebrew app MUST have DS Wifi 0.3c implemented into it.  This works with the new chipsets the new ds lites have.

I confirmed this today with the new version of DSLive Weather (it has DS Wifi 0.3c built in) by Lick.  I have an onyx ds lite purchased this month and an M3 Simply.
