lmfao @ Maxconsole! When the Wiinja was found to not be compatible with the D2B they said the"D2B renders the Wiinja useless" but now that the cyclowiz doesn't work with it either they say the D2B is "rare". Fucking scumbags. Again I encourage people to stay away from Maxconsole as it has turned into a total shit hole full time commercial.

yeah, it's incredible how they turn everything to the advantage of the cyclowiz. they have the "culot" (sorry, french word that I don't know how to translate) to even put the link to buy the cyclowiz in a news saying that the cyclowiz is incompatible with the D2B

I got my wii on launch so I hope I have one of the compatible chips. I'll have to wait till my tri-wing screwdriver arrives to make sure.

Checked mine today and im good with a DSM chip. The Wii has 20 screws to get it apart. It makes no sense on how they put it together as you will have like 3 triwing screws and then 3 regular phillips head screws right next to the triwing screws,lol. Taking it apart is simple enough. Cunundrum sent me this think which shows you exactly where all the screws are to take it apart:

Just got my wii today (my good friend delivers ups, and gave me the heads up, word!)

DeVS, are there any stickers to cut thru like on the xbox (old), or is it clear sailing. I wanna check my chip. What chip are you going with?

No there are several stickers to remove and rubber nubby things.

I just hope I can get my wii looking pristine again after disassembling it.. my xbox 360 has some ugly marks on it.. lol

Sneef, it appears it can be done with some care removing the stickers and pads. Which mod are you going with?

If you are careful, everything goes back together with no marks showing at all.

sWampy, this is true. I have taken mine apart and put back together with no noticable indication of such opening. I have a D2B in mine. Triwing was from RHS.

Sorry I've missed something here, I've not been following Wii modding to seriously as I can't afford one yet but are you saying some Wii's aren't compatible with some mods- which is why you're checking chips (on dvd drive I guess)

Wii scene seems to be moving really quick guess that cube similarity helped !
