Hi

Quote from: "dantheman"If the guy wants to make another media application, so be it.  Just because every programmer has made a "Hello world" application doesn't mean that someone shouldn't make one for themsleves.

The only reason a person would make a hello world app would be to learn. If your trying to do what's been done so that you can get better at coding and eventually make something someone hasn't made before than fine.

Well, for computers almost everything has been made, so that's not true. People try to make ones that are better then the others. But in the world of nds homebrew, where many things haven't been made, it's different.

If someone wants to program it, fine I guess. But it would be a lot more productive to do something that hasn't been done.

Who's to say that continuing this media player isn't a way for Lucas to learn more about DS coding?

Well, the reason I started a media player that looks like the iPod, is because the iPod looks quite good, whereas MoonShell has an ugly interface (unless you skin it) and it lacks the necessary playback buttons.

I just wanted to create a good looking media player. Now lucas is taking over and it's starting to become pretty good.
