I'm glad someone revived this because I was sad when lick dropped the project.

Unfortunately I don't have much use for this for now because moonshell is built in to the supercard DS menu and that plays music well and has more features. I'll keep it on my DS anyway so I can say I have an iPod XD

monk456l

does anyone know if it works on the supercard lite? if so can anyone tell me how to do it, i tried the DLDI patcher and it still doesn't seem to work.

liquidnitrogen

it works on the lite, albeit a bit buggy as i dont have a clue on how to use it.. haha...

it does look like an ipod though.. moonshell is better atm :)

hmmmm... liquidnitrogen did you have to patch it for DLDI?

Doggy124

I try alpha3 version on SCminiSD. It losd and say  starting....(in Ipod screen) then both screen just turn black

Same here, Doggy124. I have a new model SuperCard Lite and I patched it with the correct DLDI...

Hi

er... when people say ipod EMULATOR that doesn't mean it has as good sound quality as Ipods... does it?

Are we actually EMULATING the ipod, or are we making an app that plays music?

Just tring to figure things out.

And if the answer is "NO, it just plays music, no emu" then seriously, why do we keep making apps that do the same thing. We need apps that are new and different, that do something other apps don't do. It doesn't make sense to make the same app again and again.

snes emulation is an exception in my opinion. The more snes emus we have the higher capability will most likely be over all. Really true for any emulation, but since nes and most other old emus have good capibility, snes emulation is the best exception.

But for something like music playing which both moonshell and dsorganise do fantasticly, am I missing something?

Homebrew developers, please don't take this as an insult.

It's just a music player designed to look and function like an iPod.  It's somewhat of a gimmick, but it's fun to show to people.

People program for the heck of it.  If the guy wants to make another media application, so be it.  Just because every programmer has made a "Hello world" application doesn't mean that someone shouldn't make one for themsleves.
