has any1 owned a xrom before?
i have 1 and i would like to play comerical games on it.
i don't kknow how to do this so can an1 help me?

To connect it to your computer, you need to put the xrom in your GBA, use the xrom cable and plug it in the back of the GBA, and then connect the other end of the cable to the usb port... I use LittleWriter to transfer the ROMs to the xrom.

im not tat noob.  i know how to do all that stuff.
i need to know how to convert mario kart ds.nds to mario kart ds.ds.gba
i tried doing that a few times but i can't

Please avoid typing like a 3 year old at a broken keyboard in some nursery... It makes you look like, well, a 3 year old at a broken keyboard in nursery.
Anyway, just rename the file. That should work as long as the file extensions for .nds aren't being hidden.
To unhide them go into Folder Options and uncheck the box that says 'Hide Known File Extensions'

Actually, he can't just rename it, he'll need to find a generic patcher program. Something like the one from WRG.

I am using a keyboard that is broken.  :lol:
its a wireless keyboard that i got for 3 bucks it sucks but  it was better than my old one

Yeah, Mario Kart DS is most definitely a DS commercial game, not a GBA one.  You'd have to use LoadMe by WRG or NDS Patcher.  Make sure you disable all loaders on the card and that this is the only thing you flash to your XRom.  It might not work anyway.  I don't have any experience with either of these two programs.  According to the NDS Loader page, MKDS does not work with it.

I have a xrom512 and yes you can play commercial "backup" gba roms on it. I prefer the litterwriter program (slow but works).

I recommend using the 1.084 rc.

The xrom help forums is down (forever i guess). So here is a site that can help you install the drivers etc..

ive tried mario kart ds  but it dosen't work

can  u have a guide on how to convert mairo kart ds?

and say what program u use.
ive gotten dsspeech.ds.gba to work on it and mooonshell too

lol, falseadress doesn't want to play GBA games. he wants to know how to convert .nds to .ds.gba so he can play DS games with the xrom.
