GBA demo's and homebrew will not play.

I load the gba game to my SD card and put it in my super card. then i find the file and can click on it but i get nothing but a silent black screen. what am i doing wrong? Thanks for the help!

Also I have the GBA SP.

You're running it through the patcher software first, right?

No im not. AHHHH I knew I was missing something. where can i get that and how do i use it? thanks mani was abou tto have the hardest time figuring that one out.

Go to the Official Supercard site:

http://eng.supercard.cn/download.htm

Click on the Supercard version that you have and start downloading.

how can i find out version type i lookedon the box on the chipand in the software.

Hold L+R upon bootup and press A a few times until it shows you your version. I would suggest upgrading to 1.7 and then using the latest patcher with the updated ndsrominfo.dat file.

I hate to be such a NOOBIE but I am lost with this one. I have looked at this site and several others and cant seam to grasp my next move. what can i do?

use a RAR extracter program to extract the contents of those files. One should be a setup file for the software. The other will be a .bin file that you should place on your Supercard and launch, which will upgrade your firmware.

Thanks man i finnaly got it! Dan I hopefully have one more Q then i should be good. I upgraded my firmware with the bin file but now after opening and getting supercardsd running i cant open any of the game files with it. what am i missing? i opened and am using setupsdV258en its says open file error.

Open file error? That's not good. So you can't patch your games with the new patcher because you can't install it?

I cant get the games to show up on the patcher at all only one game showed up and that was a demo homebrew. but i have alot of gba games and all say open file error

EDIT: OK I wasnt opening and pulling all the files out i think i got it now but the gba games dont run in good speed they run slow is there any fix for that?

Supercards are known for playing games slowly. Try some of the solutions at http://wiki.pocketheaven.com/SupercardGBASlowdowns and see if that helps at all. However, I just have to ask one question. Copy a blank .sav file (like the one at C:\Program Files\SC\save.sav) to your card. Launch the Supercard and go to the Saver tab. Select the save file and hit A. Does it say "Do you save to SD?" or does it say "Do you load to SD"? Some of the solutions on that page involve using QPC saving. If your Supercard says "Do you load to SD?" then the 1.7 firmware update broke QPC saving. To fix this, just reboot into GBA mode when QPC saving instead of DS mode. This has been reported to work for many people.

Thanks man! Yeah This forum is great thanks to dan and a couple others ive caught on quick...well quick for me haha. anyone know how to view photos or can you not with gba? I tried the movie player and it wont open them or anything plus i already converted them so i know they are in gba format. any ideas or is this not possible? thanks again!
