moonshell boot nds files?

I know you can patch DSO stub file with DLDI to be able to boot homebrew  from DSO, but...

how come I can't do so for moonshell? Do I have to DLDI patch the moonshell.nds file itself?

Any help?

Moonshell should automatically be patched for the device you choose, and should therefore allow booting on it, but you could always repatch the moonshell.nds file if you want.  Also note that booting simply doesn't work on some devices like the MMD (and perhaps GBAMP SD version, though that might have been fixed).
