Hi... I have a complex task to accomplish, and would like your help:

First the short version: how can I convert a DS-Xtreme save file (4kb) to a Supercard SD format (256kb I believe)?

Now the details if you have time to read them:

I was playing Castlevania Portrait of Ruin on a DS-Xtreme and I am pretty advanced into the game. Now I have sold the DS-Xtreme but kept a copy of my save file (DS-Xtreme format 2kb).

I want to copy the save to my retail (original) PoR card, because the last thing I want is having to play another billion hours to get to lvl 70.

My friend lent me his Supercard SD. I installed Moonshell 1.71 on it and put Rein r15 (the unpatched nds file) on the card. I also copied my 4kb save file to the SD card.

I don't know why but Rein only runs when launched from within moonshell. Anyway, I select the "Restore / DS Save <- Save File" option in Rein, then press A to confirm the PoR original card is inserted, and then select my .sav (Xtreme version) file. Rein detects Save Type as 2 (not sure what it means) and fills progress bar up to 100%, then gives an "OK Success" message.

But then after shutting down my NDS and back on to play the PoR card, the save is reset as if it was brand new.

I guess I have to convert my Xtreme sav file to Supercard format?

Help?

  :(  :)  :o
