I also filed a dispute with paypal, but I decided not to return the microsd, as shipping would kill my purchase and I no longer trust that seller.

I just checked Geeks.com and they have the toshiba 1gb microsd in stock again. While I just brought another 1gb microsd from ebay (seller in canada) -_-

try PNY 1gb(its compatible) from newegg, i got 1 and its made in japan
and as for geeks.com i just order a 512gb toshiba ill post back if it is the made in japan

I bought one from that same guy, he sent me the wrong one too and when I asked for a refund he was like, uh sorry vendor shipped wrong item. I was a little angry, and with that anger I bought another card from seller in Canada as well  :lol: .

Anyways, I have a slight issue. With my Toshiba card, the SCDS One detects it for 30, but on some games it freezes during gameplay, sometimes takes a few minutes, other times maybe an hour. What can I do to make it not happen? It's already been formatted for FAT 64k clusters. Right now I have the card set for 28 and it happens much less, should I keep turning down until it works to my level of satisfaction?

ok guys i just recieve my order from geeks.com the 512mb toshiba that they sell is indeed made in japan.

so go ahead and buy from geeks.com,i dont anything about the toshiba 1gb, but u can e-mail them and ask them about it.

and for the total MicroSD cards that i have its 4
-kingston 1gi(taiwan, from newegg $20)
-corsair 1gb(just like kingston slow, newegg $20)
-PNY 1gb(japan, newegg $20)
-Toshiba 512mb(japan, geeks.com $18)

i you can see i wasted $40 bucks. before they offer a free 3 day shipping for PNY at newegg, but its gone and now they are offering a $20 mail-in rebate which puts the price down to $2+$6 for shipping, i suggest buy it now while they are offering it.

there should'nt be any problem with the toshiba micro sd, has the f/w been updated on the ds one.

7 kingston (made in japan) 2 being used, rest new and unopened
2 Adata 2 GB in phone (motorola Rokr E2) and shared between DS one and R4
1 Kingmax 2 GB (shared between M3 simply and ds one)

nope, geeks.com has a 512mb microSD and i know for sure its made in japan, i bought 1gb and my friend bought 1 also both from japan
