I tried flashing my friends DS lite, but it wouldn't work because he has a newer model. Anyway, I found out Slot 1 cards need no Flashme. Which Slot 1 card would you recommend is the best?

Thanks.

M3 Simply/R4 is the best slot 1 card.

Why? There are others that do more.

What else is needed besides 100% DS compatibility, cheat code system built in and homebrew support (with auto dldi patching) at a cheap price?

Man, the R4 does sound really awesome and tempting. theres those few games that I haven't been able to play, such as Castlevaina: PoR, with my upercard SD, and I also keep hearing that there will be no more Supercard Slot 2 devices, and support etc. It will be all about the slot 1. Shall I change to the R4, sooner than later, and try and get as much money as I can for the Supercard? Or stay with my SCSD while it's working?

I did purchase the Supercard SD about last September, so I wouldn't really consider myself behind in the times. :3

Guess thats your call. I love the slot 1 cards because you don't have to patch games or worry if newer games aren't gonna work with the patching software.

Now I don't know what to do! :D

I might sell it, but then theres the problem of saves. How will I be getting them to work with the R4? And also, the price. It's extremely cheap. There has to be something bad about it, because the Supercard SD is much more expensive, even without the Superpass 2!

AS ABOVE I have an R4 they kick butt for a cheap slot one card that does everything and plays everything  :)

I can't say a single bad thing about the M3 Simply, I honestly think it is the perfect card.

But what about my Supercard SD saves! And also, does it have the ability to play multiplayer with people who have a Supercard slot 1, or slot 2? AND ALSO, download play. Seeing as it already has flashme in cluded, can it do download play to a ds that is not flashed?

AND, why do you keep calling it M3 simply, then R4? Are they the same product? ;o

Thanks by the way. Thanks alot.

There is a save converter I believe. The M3 Simply and R4 are EXACTLY the same card with different names (same hardware, same software except one says R4 the other M3). The latest M3 Simply/R4 software update says it has download play (moded DS to none moded DS) like the CycloDS or whatever it is called. You can play multiplayer with any other system with any other type of mod or no mod.

Hmmm upgradable bios, homebrew soft reset, realtime game guides...  N-card clones do everything except cheats and are even cheaper than the R4. What makes the R4 better than the alternatives like the Cyclo or DS one? I am genuinely interested as I had an R4 and preferred my other carts.

The R4/M3 Simply is bios upgradeable and also has a real time cheat system. The M3 Simply/R4 does everything the Cyclo & Supercard DS does but is cheaper. Also there is no messing with game save size crap like the Supercard DS.

EXACTLY  :)

and the software is also interchangable well R4 software on M3 anyhow not sure about the other way round ... but both cards are made by the same team anyhow and updates are practically the same in every way too :)

updates are pretty frequent too ..100% download play is also possible now with the last update :D

just remember to use NDSTOKYO trimmer or the v2 trim from R4 site  :)

other trimmers will break download play  :(
