conquerearth, did you download the latest patcher software?

OK. I've gotten Reinmoon working. Now I just wish I could use the EU version of the Brain Training savegame with the US version.

Is that at all possible?

He said he was using the newest software in his post. Try formatting the card fat16 then don't trim the rom and let us know what happens bud. With the SanDisk 1GB microSD you should only get a frame rate drop here and there with the Castlevania vid not like what you are explaining.

I'll be doing a full review of the product on my radio show, but to give back to the community ...

The biggest game of interest to me was Animal Crossing.  I simply don't play it anymore because I'm not packing the cart around with me, and it is simply unplayable to me on the Supercard.  I went with the SC Lite and the Ultra II 1GB Sandisk.  I'm pleased to report that it runs completely acceptable now.

I also tried Yoshi Island on the GBA side, since I was very interested in playing this title again.  A lot of the slow does is fixed, but you'll find many places (like the first pipe level on 1-1) where it slows down unacceptably.  So once again, Supercard is NOT your GBA solution.

The product seems a bit twitchy - I had to read somewhere to put the RIGHT side of the cart in first then settle the card in to make it work.  At first, I was sure I had a defective card.  The microSD card seems more twitchy with connectivity too.  Forutnately, I don't take these things in and out.

Finally, the cart is TIGHT ... Don't plan on taking it out regularly.  If you're using a Rumble Pack regularly, you may want to reconsider.

Anyway, more coverage on the show - but it is DAMN NICE to have a cart that doesn't protrude out of my sleek ass lite :)

Animal Crossing plays just like the real gamecart on my SuperCard miniSD and ATP ProMax 150X 2GB miniSD. What type of media were you using on yours?

You were using a Ultra II on your SuperCard SD? Try a faster SD card as I have no slowdown with an ATP 150X 1GB in my SC miniSD. It has to be your slow media.

Turns out I was using the wrong patcher, I had assumed the new patcher had overwritten the old one when I installed it, when in fact they can both be installed at the same time.. which makes sense now that I think about it.

I'd give Castlevania test a 4/5 for my normal sandisk 1GB microsd, which is miles better than my supposed 60X SD in my old supercard.

All smiles here. If your still worried about buying a SCLite because of speed issues, dont be! I wouldnt even bother going for an ultraII, from what I've heard the speed increase is pretty much nonexistant. Save your money  :)

Downloading the EU version does not allow the US ROM to play the EU game. The point is that I could save myself 6MB of space on the card.

Doesn't sound like much I know but it can make all the difference when space is tight.

I never noticed any slowdown with a sandisk ultra II 1g and SC SD while playing Animal Crossing, but then I have never played it from real gamecart. IF that is slow from what I see the people must really move fast then.

i made a video of the castlevania intro with a 1gb sandisk ultra II microsd: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lkdLovXLgE
