Anyone having problems with 1.63?

I put the upgrade.scu file into the root of my minisd and turned on the ds.

It comes up saying:

Old ver 1.62
Now ver 1.63

I press start to upgrade. It gets to 32% and says:

write flash error.
Turn off GBA, upgrade again.

No matter how many times I try this, I get the same thing.

Now my supercard does nothing.

The bottom screen shows the supercard logo and the top screen is white.

Please tell me my supercard isnt fried

Hi, I have EXACTLY the same problem. The flash stop at 32%, says write flash error and no more. Now my supercard give me a blank screen when I bot without the updater, and the updater go on to crash. I've tried to format the minisd card or to upgrade with another version, but the same crash occurs.

Try installing 1.62 again and see how you get on...

I can't because the 1.62 is a .bin file, I have to acceed to the supercard menu to launch it and I can't 'cause I've a blank screen...
I can only launch upgrade.scu files... or somebody know how to "automatic launch" a .bin file?

Write error at 33% with 1.61 and with all other I've tested (1.40 and so on).
It's strange because the card worked fine before this...

Have you tried reformatting the SD?

Yes (fat format) and I have also tried to use another sd.
Ah I've also made the series of self-test (with L+R buttons pressed when boot) and all tests work fine, no error.

Yep that's exactly what i'm having. I know there was no problem writing the firmware before because as soon as I got it, I used the bin to do the 1.62 firmware upgrade. This is really frustrating. I've done everything dolarcles has done. The tests run fine. I've formatted the SD card several times and tried another SD card. It just keeps crapping out at 32% every time... I really hope there's a solution to this. No other old firmwares will work either.

I just upgrading my Supercard mini-SD to 1.63, it was fine.

Are supercards just really fragile or is just me? Me and a friend ordered 2 of them a few weeks ago from realhotstuff. He had his for about 3 days and it died, and now mine shits the bed after using an official update. I'm almost tempted at this point to send it back and see about getting another brand. I was very happy with this when it worked, but i'm starting to think these aren't very reliable.
