My SCSD upgraded just fine!

Updating with SC CF works fine.

The users who bricked their cards could try darkfaders flashmp for repairing, but I am not exactly sure if it works, because as far as I know only SC SD is supported.

Are supercards just really fragile or is just me? Me and a friend ordered 2 of them a few weeks ago from realhotstuff. He had his for about 3 days and it died, and now mine shits the bed after using an official update. I'm almost tempted at this point to send it back and see about getting another brand. I was very happy with this when it worked, but i'm starting to think these aren't very reliable.

Get a replacement, for sure, but I wouldn't say SC is a bad brand by any means.  I've flashed my SCCF a dozen times since I got it about this time last year.

That said, I'm still bloody terrified to try updating to 1.63 after these reports...  :shock:

I just updated mine with no problems. I downloaded my file from the offical Supercard site.

I just updated mine (downloaded from SC Dev) and it worked fine on my Mini SD.  At first it freaked me out because there was a long pause at 32% then it kept going...

Supercard SD and miniSD should be the same considering all software works for both. I'm not sure how I can get darkfader's flashmp to work considering it's a .nds file and I can't get access to the supercard loader. Only a white screen.

i used the software and firmware update from original site.

I think it depends if the flash card is empty or not cause I first emptied my flash card and copied the upgrade file alone and everything went smooth and within a couple of seconds my sccf was flashed

Mine was full of games and homebrew and it worked without a problem.

I just succesfully updated my SC CF's firmware. And i don NOT think it matters how much stuff you have on ur card cuz i just used mine iand it was pretty much full.

I just updated my SC-miniSD and it went fine.

One thing i would suggest is try upgrading in GBA mode.

weird how only new post members have this problem ?  if it was a real problem then a good cross-section of members would also be having it.
