I think the 4Mb is for game saves, that way it doesn't interfere with your cart

MapleStory is LAME. I got bored after the first 20 minutes.  :?

DSLink known Pros and Cons

Cons:

cannot play GBA game files,GBA Homebrew.
Needs a Flashed DS.
Need a MicroSD Media Storage.
Games need to be patched(May cause some games to not work and thus lower nds rom compatibility.

Pros:

Cheap(unconfirmed but likely).
has Expandible space for nds game files and stuff when using with MicroSD cards.
Only one card no need for a GBA Cart
Upgradable Firmware.
I presume it can be used in conjunction with hardware like rumble pak and Opera Web Browser DS Ram Expansion Pack!

The Opera browser for NDS requires a RAM expansion pack to be present in the GBA slot.  Simply because these new "Slot 1" flashcarts are freeing up the GBA slot that all other carts in the past (SC, M3, etc) occupied doesn't mean Opera will suddenly work.  The proper GBA expansion cart is still needed in "Slot 2".

I would never go so far as to say that hacking the Opera ROM to use a starndard flashcart's RAM memory (like the SC) is impossible, but keep in mind that all of these carts have different chipsets and memory-types.  This would result in quite a lot of reverse-engineering to satisfy the entire NDS scene.  The only ones out there that are capable of releasing such a hack may decide they only want to write it to work with the SC, for example.  Those with other carts would be better off buying the commercial Opera software rather than the "lucky" flashcart.

I must say that the past week or so has been exciting as these new flashcarts are emerging.  Hopefully there will be members on this board and others with enough money and bravery to try them out and report their findings.  I just got my DS Lite, but I'm holding off on purchasing the SC Lite until I know what's up with these new flashcarts.  Let's all hope for the best!

well i am not going to buy this instead i will opt for the DS-Xtreme as it doesnt need a flashed ds to play ,not patching needed and it its just drag and drop and play.

ImmortalNinja
