Anyone able to make a small .nds app that simply boots from your GBA card, then waits for you to remove the passme and then boot the DSlink?
If that is even possible (think so).

I got the time, so I'll just wait and see what happends.
I'm happy with my M3 mini-sd now, but I'm planning to buy a new one but not neccesary so I'll be waiting.  :D

A technique I heard of which makes ds lite flashing much safer is to insert a small length of straw (like the kind you drink from) into the hole for the short.  Then you insert a tinfoil-covered object, like a paperclip or toothpick, into the straw.  This makes it virtually impossible to short the wrong thing and brick your lite.

I flashed my NDSL with no problems using this method.  It was just the same as doing it on my Phat.  Geez is it nervewracking though, after all that bricking talk going around

I flashed one in one go together with a friend.
That was really cool :P.

i thought this part of the writeup was interesting
QuoteAccording to the test, TF (MicroSD) recommended the use of KingMAX card brands, even faster
that's exactly what i found.  My kingmax microSD runs the best on supercard lite too.
