My DS saw my WiFi PCI card ( PLANET WL-8314 ) without special drivers :D I entered my WEP key but after "testing connection" I got error (51300) :(

I looked at nintedoWiFi siete but they have only routers :|

Did you have Windows' Internet Connection Sharing set up?
I see no reason why you couldn't put a desktop/laptop PCI/PCMCIA/USB WiFi adapter into Ad-Hoc mode, set up ICS, and connect through that...

Though, I, personally, have never gotten much of anything but headaches from trying to set up Ad-Hoc networks, it should still work...

Not true.
I have done hackish solutions like this before having a DS for tunneling a 'net connection to a WiFi enabled (and before that through Bluetooth) PDA.

If you can get an application like Windows' ICS or NAT32e set up to "forward" a connection from another network connection to your WiFi card set up in Ad-Hoc that has a built-in DHCP server (or set up a DHCP server on that interface) it will connect and work. Additionally, you'll need to set up a static IP on your WiFi card that's in Ad-Hoc mode to serve as the DHCP server.

I haven't tried it with my DS as I haven't had to. I bought a Ralink card for WiFiMe as well as Wireless MultiBoot for my friends who don't want to flash their DSes...so I've been able to enjoy SoftAP.

weel just try.. you will see you cant use Nintendo wifi via AD-HOC mode..

ive tried a lot, thats why i search like crazy for this softAP solution...

i have a USB Adaptor ... i´ve tried a lot to make it work.. but i had no sucess

Hrm...a challenge.

I'll see if I can get it working.
If the NDS can see it, then I'd think it could work.
I can't guarantee quick results, but I'll poke around and see if I can't figure something out via Ad-Hoc.

I bought the PCI card mentioned in the tutorial (this one) and the Gigabyte drivers don't work. Help?
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

look like the new revision of this pci adaptor has MARVELL Chipset not rt2500

No need to worry...the Gigabyte SoftAP drivers actually appear to be a modification of the Marvell SoftAP drivers.
Go here and select driver downloads, select "Wireless" as your product category, and the Libertas AP-33 driver supposedly will allow you to enter SoftAP mode with a Marvell chipset card...if not those drivers, try the other two packages and they should get you rocking and rolling.

Done.
I uninstalled my Gigabyte drivers for my Ralink card, switched my card to Ad-Hoc mode, and set up NAT32e to use my on-board LAN interface (a nForce ethernet card) as the "internet" connection and my Belkin PCI wireless card as the "private" interface, started up NAT32e, and was able to connect to Nintendo WFC without issues.
Just to verify, I dropped all the Nintendo WFC connections from my DS, set it up again, and once again was able to connect.
The biggest issue with Ad-Hoc (as with SoftAP, honestly) is a need for a IP Tunnel from your WiFi "card" to your actual internet connection and a DHCP server listening on the WiFi "card."

While I didn't test with Windows ICS, that should work as well.

My Kung-Fu wins!

Could you go into more detail, please?

And do your card's drivers have a "SoftAP mode"? Mine don't.

Unfortunately, as I don't have a Marvell card to check and see what drivers it takes, I can't go into much more detail, other than try and install each set of drivers...and I believe each driver ZIP should decompress with an application install and driver folder.
The driver folder contains the drivers (obviously) and the application folder should contain the SoftAP configuration application installer.

Worst case, you could probably contact your card manufacturer and have them point you in the right direction.
