Whoo hoo! The CF save DOES work for me. I can't delete the old settings, but I can modify the name and everything and it saves and loads perfectly.

I'll upload the save to rapid share.

Yes, the CF save works PERFECTLY for the SD version. I can save grand prix now and everything. Thanks to the person who gave me the link (sorry forgot your name -_-)

(edit) Okay, I take that back. Here's how things work...

If you want to play wifi, you need to use the save that comes with the SD version.

If you want to play the single player or local multiplayer, use the CF save.

For a person who owns a SD card and wants both, I suggest you save up $30 and buy the actual game ^_^

I'm using the SD version and I started with a blank save. (I copied and renamed one from another game after patching. It was just a 256k file full of zeroes.)

Wifi works.
Local multiplayer works.
Download multiplayer does not work.
Single player works, and stats and everything save.
Friends list was saving, but now it's not.
Decal saves sporadically.

I'm thinking about getting the retail version and trying to import my current save into it.

Is their a way to import saves to the DS cart? I know theirs a way to copy them off it to the supercard. How would you copy it from the supercard to DS cart?

Err... supercard IS passme. The only difference is it's manufactured by the people that made the super card.

Finally managed to get Mario Kart working fully with Supercard/SD.   Every time I tried to save or race on wi-fi after I had finished the game would crash, and the save data corrupt resulting in the game not being able to load.

However if you use the new SCZ 2.431 patcher and use the preferences to save to DS card INSTEAD of SD then the game works fine (Tested with Nintendogs cart)  All files save fine to the cart WI-FI works.

i have  tested  it    works  great,   when  loading though  comes up with save data  corrupt and  needs to be deleted    tried wifi      but  dont  have a capatable  wifi card  but    works ok after  reloading the game.

i  tried tony hawks    but the  game  freezes  when you  go to create an account  but  i will wait for a solution

You dont get any errors with save problems if you patch Mario Kart DS to save to DS card rather than saving to SD card as I mentioned above, providing you have a DS game that has a 2mbit save slot such as Nintendogs then Mario Kart works flawlessly, at least it does for me, anyone else care to verify my findings?

It works with nintendogs as long as you patch it to save to ds card,no probs.Can't get the wireless to work mind!
I've got a linksys WAG54G,it recognises the ds but won't let me go on the net,any ideas?
