Has anybody tried Curse of Monkey Island yet?

So, do you still need the files in an uncompressed zip? Because I have Day of the Tentacle with voices and everything. Do I just put the files in an uncompressed zip on the CF and run it?

figured him out , had to add a dummy zip and use the builder

I didn;t have to do this. Just unzip the original emu archive, double click on the build batch file without any scummdata.zip at all, and rename the scummvm.ds.gba to scummvm.nds. From there, copy it to you CF card and run.

I only tested Monkey Island tonight, and it worked great. Only thing was that my audio tracks are compressed to OGG files, so I will have to convert them to wavs to get the CD audio. No big deal however. We need more emulation goodness like this on the DS! Fantastic!

I finally got the chance to mess with the CDDA audio tonight. I teted Monkey Island the other night without CD audio, but got my audio converted to run in Scummvm DS tonight. Really really great. I am absolutely going to love my day off tomorrow!

I just converted the audio for MI1, too... Man i'm obsessed... It's much easier this time around... I still remember exactly what to do (except for a few things)...

When I originally played it, it was CGA with PC Speaker sound!!   It's much cooler this way!!!

Oh yeah... and I can't quite remember... but I dont even think I had a mouse!!! i had to control the pointer with the keyboard!!  Man, still, this was the greatest game ever.  The story, gameplay, and humor are most important.  i still think that should be the focus today.  too bad it's not.  HD this, fancy-graphics that.  I WANT MORE GOOD ADVENTURE GAMES!

I can't belive how great this emu is progressing. I just put Day of the Tentacle on there. It is the funniest game I have ever played. I love it. It gets no better. LUCASARTS! MAKE MORE ADVENTURE GAMES!

Another SC SD user here eagerly, eargerly awaiting the good stuff (mainly playing the talkies)

I dream(litterally) of playing The Dig, etc on the DS.
It is the PERFECT platform for them.

Would Loom CD or Indiana Jones IV already work with 0.5 ?
I'd love to play Loom CD.
I have the original and I never managed to run it with voices on Windows, only in my Dreamcast...weird...some to do with mixed audio tracks, apparently...

Aye, good news, good news
too bad about the Dig and FT, is it the size of the files ?
If that's it, I wonder about Comi???and even an eventual "CD change"you know in the middle of the game, lol, but that's maybe taking a bit far for now, I dunno...
Anyhow, great news about Loom, I just can't wait !

Yoko99: nope unfortunately its not the size. They run in a higher res and use way more resources so they will almost definately never be supported.
