hmm.. i dont' really use aim or msn these days... but I'm around in the scdev irc channel sometimes..  check the sticky here in the general forum, it has the channel link and info.

i'd be glad to share info on the m3 or whatever you want to chat about.  I know a lot of people find m3 to be really awesome, but to be honest, I kind of like my supercard better, now that the initial excitement of receiving my m3 SD Slim wore off.

Hi guys, i just flashed my lite and there wasnt any problems. i have UJF100071** series. i shorted the SL1 first and then i press XBXB.

Flashed here all good.  I notice that with the firmware, no matter WHAT screen brightness you start with, when you flash, you end up with "2nd to the brightest".

The SL1 jumper gave me a LOT of trouble with the same screwdriver that I've flashed a DOZEN DSes with.  I was at 1% for probably 15 minutes (sweatin' the whole time).  I finally found the perfect solution;  the end of a wire hanger (uncoated, unpainted).  The hole was very snug, but it went in and the short was PERFECT.

You bet ... 3/4 of the show is in the can ... I've had a VERY busy couple of weeks and was unable to get things going.  Tuesday should see the new show, and a bonus show shortly after.

we know that passme works on ds lite.  That's what i've been using all along.. it's only J-Dub whose passme isn't working on his lite.

Sneef, can you provide me with a link to the exact PassMe thing you use on your DS Lite?  I'd rather just buy one of those and wait for an official DS Lite (safe) firmware upgrade.  Thanks!

it's expensive, but it's the only seller who has one ATM.  I bought one for about 40, but with shipping I paid 59, which is almost the same as what this guy wants.

I haven't found retailers who actually have them in stock online.  only ebay so far.

bricked my DSL START+SEL+A+B, then A with only the SCSD containing flashme won't help, either...

That darn little metal thingy on the left...touch it, watch a little spark, and your DSL turns off. Practiced a bit now on the dead unit, a rolled piece paper around the end of a screwdriver seems to do the trick, don't know if I short it properly, though...

Beware of the left side!

Thanks, seen those, and watching them. It's not the "fuse" thing, though...since it charges fine and the green light turns on when turning the unit on, and turns off when turning the unit off. It's just that the screens stay black, whatever I do. Use it for shortening practice now, since it still turns off when shortening the thing on the left

Hoping for that hopefully authentic romman solution right now (since I already ordered a second unit anyway), but if anyone has a better idea, i'm up for anything, can't get any worse...
