I don't know if this is widely known, but hold L & R when you power on your NDS/supercard and it will run through a series of self tests (press A to advance though them). Everything reports as being OK, yet I am still unable to upgrade my SD firmware. I've tried the upgrade file from 4 different mirrors now, all give the same error.

A friend who just upgraded his SD Supercard tells me.. "worked for me.. but it did give error a few times". Interesting.

Animal crossing (E) has hangs constantly. Works fine with 2.41.

"Data verify error, please turn off gba" cause found, I think: the upgrade on a 2GB SD card failed on both a DS and DS Lite, while the upgrade performed from a 1GB SD card worked flawlessly on both. Curious to see results if anyone who has had this problem could reply with their SD card size and can try with a lower capacity card if one is on hand.

i rekon you are onto a winner there kreltek, im using a 2GB SD card, and CANNOT upgrade.. (tested everything) will try later tonight / tomorrow with a 1gb and post results (unless im beaten to it!)

well in real life the nds cart readers the header of the gba rom in the gba slot however with the supercard u cant insert the gba cart so u put the gba rom with the same name !

ahah.. my card is 2gig (2gig mini in a SD adaptor).. cannot upgrade. lucky i can borrow my neighbours 256m cart tonite!

bah Animal Crossing WFC still doesn't work :/ And I needed 3 restarts till get get ingame O.o

but Tetris DS works

I did read somewhere SuperCard is not SD-Mini compatible,what Mini SD are u using? Type/Speed

Me got 2GB SD too so thats the problem like it seems.

I'm using sandisk brand 2gig mini SD. I've no idea what "speed" it is. Ive been able to play everything using it so far, Tetris and Mariokart work fine online using 1.60 firmware. I've not tested much GBA mind you..

Upgraded kernel without any problems. But I think i have to patch Tetris again because it still hangs out after quitting wfc..

Can't u just use the US rom and still connect to WFC?
