Nevermind, I put the update in a folder and that's why it didn't work. Put the file on the root of the sd card and the file executes as soon as you turn the ds on. Unfortunately, now I am getting a corrupt data error from the update and it won't let me proceed. Going to try some mirrors out...

EDIT: Ok, if you get a data verify error, like I did...use a smaller memory card. Wouldn't update with my 2 GB Ridata SD card, updated fine with a crummy generic 512 sd card. Also make sure you put the file in the ROOT of your memory card, no sub folders and all should work.

Just execute te update in GBA mode not in DS mod.. and you wont have problems!

Tried this one.
But it's not the problem, the file won't execute anyway and don't appear either.
So far it works with some SD/CF cards while it doesn't with others...

Ok, success!

- Upgrade on card root
- Booted in GBA mode (passkey not inserted)
- Crucial branded 1GB SD card

Yeah updated my firmware too.. also hade the error veryfie thingy.. but use my smaller 256Mb SD card and worked no issues..

Anyone else having issues with Animal Crossing Wild World (U)? I can play the game but it black screens when I go to enter WiFi settings.

It's always been that way. Just setup the wifi settings in another game.

i have a similar problem, "write flash error, please restart gba and try again" when upgrading the 1.61 version but i'm using a 256mb Kingston SD card, i also tried 512 Ridata SD card and Transcend 1GB 80x SD card, all of them gives this kind of error. i tried self-test using L+R while starting, but everything is ok.. i don't know if i got a defective Supercard, but it seems that some of the games i play like Kirby - nightmare or naruto ninja-council have their normal saves are working, but games like golden sun, megaman battlenetwork, and most of the games does play but normal saves do not work.. even if i normal save it, once i restarted my gba and load the game, it only shows new game, no load game available.. weird though since when i refer to

it says that all the games i have tried so far works well and does work with normal save... i also do encounter some games not working even though the list said it works perfectly.. such as Hot Potato, where it hangs from certain part of the game...

Btw, im using the old Gameboy Advance unit.. the one without a backlight, could it be the reason for not being able to get supercard to work well compared to other supercard users?

Also, Supercard current version 1.60 and software 2.51

re what others have said about animal crossing. I've found that patching with 252 causes random black screen crashes, repatching with 251 seems to fix the problem.
Implies there might be a problem with 252 as brain age is the same for me - patching with 252 causes random white screen crashes, patching with 251 looks ok so far.

Anyone else able to confirm this?
