I really have the button combo for RTS on GBA games :(

How do you guys handle it on a DS?

How well does this work? I haven't updated for a while. The last update was the one before they "fixed" the tetris wi-fi connection freezing problem.

2. Changes GBA restoration program structure, 256Mb GBA games can increase the spaces, immediate filing patch (1.62 with needs and core)
That one kinda puzzles me.

I don't get it? Inmediate filing? Does that mean on the fly patching?, Fast load?
A 256Mbit ROM that isnt trimmed smaller than 256Mbit used to have problems running because the patching had to add extra code to the ROM - Im assuming this fixes that issue with the few that had the problem so one no longer has to trim the end of the file to make it work.

thanks!
I read somewhere else that GBA roms patched with ths version will have white screens.
I tried using Kingdom Hearts (E) and I got them.
BTW, the rom load is faster.

I need help!

Don't know what's going on, I've just downloaded Kernel 1.62 , i copy it to my Kingston 1 GB SD card and run the DS in GBA mode.
Select sd_162.bin and it says:

'Wait verift data'

And after that:

'Data verify error!
Please turn off GBA.'

What's wrong? I've also formatted my SD card but everything remains the same...

Thanx in advice.

No one said yet? No more GBA / DS modes, it aways boots as DS mode.

HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM!!!1!
I tested 2 GBA roms with this update. CF SC.

1758 - The Legend of Zelda - The Minish Cap (U)
Patched back in 2.53 software, it works fine, seem to load faster, at least is different. Using "enable save patch", "enable saver", "enable RTS", "enable restart" and "enable compress".
But installing 2.541 software, patched a clean rom, it loads and shows a garbled GBA intro screen, freezes there with a garbled Nintendo word.
Repatched it without compressing and it worked fine.

0086 - Mario Kart Super Circuit (U)
As above, patching in 2.541, compress spoils the game, not even a garbled bios, just white screen.
W/O compress it works fine.
Can someone confirm me in this? I think the game has no slowdowns.

In the end, enable compress seems to be broken in this build.

Take out your PassMe or if you have flashme installed turn on the DS while holding the SELECT button. With flashme/passme it will automatically boot in NDS mode - I made an un/patcher for it, havent tested it with the latest kernel but it probably still works if you dont like it the way it is.

chavaflyfree: the current version is 1.62, if you updated to it already you will have to go back to an older than 1.60 most likely with a .scu file (I dont recall which version allows you to downgrade the supercard) before upgrading to it again. Re-download the 1.62 file directly from the supercard site, full format your memory card and put it on there by itself and try again. Possibly the update is fragmented on your SD and that could cause the error.

During power up, hold SELECT button for DS options, hold START for GBA menu.

MasterMan

Thanks, bitbit, but:
Holding [SELECT] or [START] during power up both brings the GBA mode.
By holding [SELECT] and [START], DS menu shows up.
At least here, TY.
