Re-flash your supercard with the latest firmware in GBA mode.  If that doesn't help try going back to the previous version, perhaps there is a bug.

The upgrade worked fine in DS mode for me. Well, you just press A on the bin file, it switches to GBA mode, and asks if you want to update the firmware.

MasterMan

Yeah, i used to have the last 1.53 fw and it used to boot in GBA mode, i upgraded it like this and worked. The deal is i had a black screen in red letters for the upgrade process.
It boots fine with [SELECT]+[START] for DS menu and all.
My only question is SCZ compressed GBA roms not working, has anyone having this?

If you have a game in the ds slot it won't do that.

At least here, TY.
[SELECT] and [START] == flashme recovery mode so you can run flashme if something kills your DS's firmware.

Flashme is meant to not autostart DS mode if START is held on bootup (which means it goes to the default DS boot option - if you have a DS cart in and the menu set to autoboot it, it will boot it)

Its quite amazing how many have managed to get flashme onto their DS's and dont really understand what it does.

gingi

don't see it anywhere so sorry if this is a repost:

Thanks gingi, though the mirror was updated the other day when it was released. (check page 1 or page 2 ;) )

Select - skip FlashMe header check
Start - skip autoboot (if turned on)
A + B + Select + Start = FlashMe recovery mode
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

techie -> n00b translation . . .

Quote from: "bitblt"During power up, hold SELECT button for DS options, hold START for GBA menu.

MasterMan

OMG, i don't wanna seem stuborn, but i said exactely what happens here.
Jap DS black (DS blue firmware?), Flashme 6, PassMe v2, SC/CF 1.54 firmware, 128MB Dane-Elec CF.
Hold START and power on enters GBA mode, with GameBoy Advance logo and such. Holding SELECT is the same as START. Holding A+B+X+Y does nothing, opens DS mode, as holding anything.
Holding START and SELECT enters the DS menu (pictochat, download'n play...).
I'm starting to worry, my DS is weird?

BTW, it works fine, boot modes are nothing to worry :P

Heh, looks like you don't know how it works either. ;) Did you get it onto your DS?

I'm sure cory1492 made a typo.

Whoops. Well at least everyone enjoyed the latest supercard goodness one way or the other :)

Noo, you hold Select to not boot from the Supercard. Start is only needed if your DS is in automatic mode (like mine.)
