Quote from: "m2pt5"Noo, you hold Select to not boot from the Supercard. Start is only needed if your DS is in automatic mode (like mine.)
Ahhhhhh . . .  I thought I was clear.  When I say "DS options" I don't mean "DS mode" . . .
(hold SELECT button for DS options) = (hold Select to not boot from the Supercard)

Quote from: "Romman"
Will enter NDS mode directly if FlashMe installed. Hold "START" will enter GBA mode when power up.

That's wrong, though.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

I understand what you are saying and it's a valid point.  But for most people Rommans statement is true.

No, it's not. If you have FlashMe installed, you have to hold Select to get to the DS system menu, and you also have to hold Start if you have your DS set to Auto mode.

I never talked about pressing SELECT and START, I was talking about pressing SELECT or START.

Hold SELECT during power up for DS (system) options.
or
Hold START for GBA (mode) menu.

Emtu, if you will, remove your battery for a minute then put your DS back together and power up holding START button only.  What happens?

Again, if you have Auto mode on, you have to hold Select and Start for the same effect.

And I didn't know about holding Start alone dropping you into GBA mode.

dai_uk

thanks for the heads up :-)

what does fast play game do on the patcher ?
Damo

m2pt5

It makes some games less slow. Ouendan works fine for me without it, but some people need it patched with Fast Play.

In short: If a game seems slow for you, try repatching it with Fast Play. It sometimes helps.

Now, what does the "iQue game" option in the patcher?

Nice chart.

Quote from: "MasterMan"Now, what does the "iQue game" option in the patcher?
The "iQue game" option is for special Japanese iQue system/games.  You won't need this option unless you own an iQue.

karurosu

Hi I can't use compressed GBA roms.
I was wondering, will roms patched with the old patched work?

Thanks
