Quote from: "monaug5"so their is not much the supercard team can except improve gba functionality also could they add a custom boot menu?
Nope. And its hard to add more GBA functionality as much of it lies in the ram.

Why do people refer to microSD when there aint an adapter?
i thought there was only a miniSD supercard?  :?
lack DSLite with supercard lite microSD 1.7 with 1GB microSD and Superkey
SCDS Slot 1 *new*

psp v1.5 32m + 1GB DUO and a shit load of games lol

if you want to complain that the single cart multiplayer is so broken i have the best solution, actually buy the game then you wont have to flash any DS.

monaug5

nah thats the whole point of homebrew to have to not use your own stuff to get stuff basically Supercard has NEARLY reached it limit

I've heard a few time now that Animal Crossing doesn't run so well on the SuperCard...I don't have the original game, so I wouldn't know what's different, but it seems to run perfect for me, both on my old SuperCard CF and my new SuperCard SD.

I don't notice any slowdowns, I have no problems entering or exiting buildings, fishing works like it should...is there something that's missing or slow that I don't know about?

Great game btw, ever since I loaded it up I've barely touched any other game, it's just so damn enjoyably time and life consuming!

downset04

animal crossing seems perfect to me where exactly is the slowdown?

i played it on cf, sd and now miniSD

looks and plays smooth

darkuni

That's only because you haven't played it off the original.  It was slow enough that I simply couldn't play it off the Supercard - I had the original in the DS slot the whole time I was playing it.

I haven't seen any noticable difference in the speed of Animal Crossing on my DS cart from AC on my Supercart. One thing I did notice once though, is that if AC wasn't in one of the last games put on my supercart, I would get MAJOR sound skipping and slowdown.

monaug5

slowdowns and speed could always be improved a tiny bit on the supercard i believe

found audio volume bug in sc sd firmware 1.62 when i downgrade to 1.54 , than 1.6 , and the volume was again alright...(i read people thinking it was flasme v7 bug)
still no luck to run nds, gba, nes emu properly, even with 1.54, 1.6

hey try patching the animal crossing rom to the load from Supercard instead of load from SD.(The slow booting option which you have to wait for 1 min b4 it starts) Tell me if you see any difference! This will fix majority of the lag. Cos i thought there was no lag at first until i fiddled with the options =)

I'm using a SANDISK mini SD.

None of these new GBA "Bit Generation" games boot on my supercard (1.62, 2gb miniSD) ... someone here saying one boots on his CF supercard tho..

Whats everybody else's experiences with these 3 roms?

meangreenie

Anyone else thinking this might be the FAT32 update coming up ?  Would seem to be the right time now 8GB are becoming available.
Yes I'm mad
