it may not be perfect but it appears to make the castlevania video LOADS smoother... GO ROMMAN !!!!!

When you say it may not be perfect, do you mean it's still not 100% smooth like a real DS cart? or that it makes the video load smoother, but causes other problems?

But as far as the new firmware goes, it's working great on my SClite.

I had my games in the order of likeness lol oh well.  What exactly does the patcher do?  It doesnt really give better compatibility right?

well you don't have to update, but if a future update offers something you want - remember to upgrade in the appropriate order if the update is a .scu, this release is a .bin so it's a full firmware replacement.

Now if someone could sort out the date thing, there must be a way to get it alphabetical again

Oh and I noticed the Cheats are now in english :-), and was there an option to apply IPS patches last time ?? Wonder if this would allow RatX to release any patches in IPS :-)

Major disappointment that Tony Hawk was not fixed.

I'm not even going to bother to upgrade to watch a Castlevania Video and lose the alphabetical order listing.

I tried patching Pokemon Blue with DMA, and now there isnt so much skipping when running in dungeuons.  There is still some but it is better overall

Has anyone successfully updated the firmware on their SCSD mini?

It seems the SCSD lite owners are updating fine, but a few SCSD mini owners have said their mini sd was corrupted by this new firmware.

If it corrupts your microsd can you just format it and that'll fix it?

Ihave a Mini Sd and it works absolutely fine

Just tried animal crossing with DMA (On CF) as it was slow as anything run off CF before (transitions again) and it froze after 2 seconds at title screen - just patching again.
