I tried the Castlevania video on my minisd, yea it is better, but nothing worth repatching everything for.

Ultimate spider man works now on the sd rumble. Tony hawk still not working. I'm repatching the games I play right now and let you now.

Had no problems upgrading my Super card SD and Mini Sd, Rumble mini sd.

I can't notice any difference in nds rom loading speed with my SClite.  I never really timed it, but they all load in about 1 second or so, which is good enough.

Done converting all the game and did some quick testing. All old saves works fine on the Sd Rumble cart

Mario Kart DS, Mech Assault and Metroid Pinball does not work with DMA enable (get 2 white screens).

Notice a little speed improvement with animal crossing.

So far so good.

one earlier poster said his acww save wouldn't work with new patch/new firmware. Are you saying it worked all right for you?

FIRMWARE UPDATE!!!!! (It's still numbered 1.70)

Right now I've downloaded the new firmware files and the modified date is different from the .bin firmware released yesterday!!!!

Maybe they fixed some bugs, though they did not announce anything on the Supercard's site. That's why the link was down yesterday. I'll try and reflash hopefully it will work somehow.

I just went to eng.supercard.cn and got it too. I see what you mean about the "last modified" date. Please report back ASAP on anything you see going on there.

Conversion software：
1.Rewrote NDS card reading code for faster reading
2.Added DMA card reading option, can increase read speed
3.Rumble version can now play iQue games, corrected 0472, 0286 black screen bug
4.0252 requires a fast memory card, SD and Mini SD will sometimes hang; CF,micro SD and Rumble hang less

I've tested out the bugfixed firmware/patcher quite thoroughly... here's what I found (using MiniSD):

DMA mode doesn't speed up BOOTING, it speeds up in-game loading. I found this to be useful with Animal Crossing and Metroid Pinball. It also broke Mechassault.

The new firmware is able to read your old version saves like it's supposed to (phew!)

It still won't run Tony Hawks DJ

It still reverse-sorts everything. Aaaaaaaaargh whose demented idea was this? It was fine how it was!

The new logo is still ugly as hell.

'0252' as mentioned in the release notes is Mario&Luigi Partners In Time.


EDIT: There appears to be no performance increase on GBA titles. Damn.

Is this the new one or the one that I already have?
(The one that I already have is the one that I got a few days ago from supercard.tk)
